Problogger’s 7 Links Challenge
Darren Rowse from Problogger.net put up a simple challenge for bloggers.
All you have to do is write about 7 links you want to share with other bloggers, one of which links out elsewhere and if you want, you can talk about the links you’ve chosen. Add a little summary for each.
Here’s what the 7 link challenge asks:
- Your first post
- A post you enjoyed writing the most
- A post which had a great discussion
- A post on someone else’s blog that you’d wish you’d written
- Your most helpful post
- A post with a title that you’re proud of
- A post that you wish more people had read
Pretty simple huh? Read my response. I hope to read yours as well. It’s a great way to let other readers know more about who you are and in general showcase your work. You may also want to add #7links to your post so that readers can follow you on Twitter.
I have also posted this challenge up on SeededBuzz, a community which buzz about your posts on their relevant blog. Read more about how SeededBuzz works to get an overall picture. Happy linking!
This challenge is made possible by Jacinta Dean of Creating My Business Online.
The rules are simple:
- Choose a post you want everyone to comment on
- Install the necessary plugins for dofollow
- Comment on the relevant blogs who are also in the challenge
- Add #100comments to your post so we can also follow you in Twitter
You might want to read more about the full details over on Jacinta’s blog for the 100 Blog Comments Challenge. She will explain for you fully what plugins you will need. This is necessary to get started and keep in mind what post you want to share. It could be anything from your archives. Overall, the point is to provide valuable feedback for one another and support the blogger’s movement. Consequently, check out the 100 Blog Comments Challenge Contributors!
Read my entry entitled The Growing Elements of a Blogger and help me achieve the quest! The 100 Comments Challenge was also SeededBuzzed.
BONUS: Below are some buttons I have made that you can put up on your website. They are all proportionately sized at 125Wx125H. Just find one to your liking, right-click and save. Hope to see you in the challenge!
