Clip to Evernote

Hi, my name is Thu Nguyen (pronounced ‘to win’) :) Thu Nguyen

There’s a lot of information out there about what’s right or wrong and the best practice to go about blogging online. I started this blog to educate, inform and experience the process to see for myself what the crack it’s all about. Thus, I’m no guru or make money online extraordinaire, just your online enthusiast making it happen through baby steps.

I hope you join me to document, analyze and discuss the development of the blogosphere.

The Blog Blueprint

Below are the best ways to understand how this blog can benefit you. I’ll break it down into the categories I’ve set out so that you can get a bird’s eye view. Take a look further at the sitemap to see the links of the relevant posts as well as they’ll give you a better picture overall.

Or you can scroll pass this section and find out who I really am :) .

PERFORMANCE – This is going to be the most concentrated area as it will convey strategies, happenings, best practices and tips to blog, market, write, socialize and so on. There’s going to be more added down the line as I continue to filter out the information I’m accumulating everyday, especially for my e-library.

Quite a lot to learn here but the focus is to get the most out of your blogging endeavor. Thus, this is the area where the technical problems are analyzed and viewed from various perspectives.

INSPIRATION – The second area of concentration on this blog is reviews from reports, ebooks, lectures and seminars I’ve been apart of. You’ll see me mention bloggers who are professional as well as aren’t professionally mentioned.

I like to keep a list of underdogs under my wings as the big dogs bring the rest of the blogosphere together, there’s something to learn from the ‘little guy‘ too. Overall, it’s an eclectic mix of philosophy, tactics, influence and lessons on branding.

SELF-DEVELOPMENT - A cross between the two categories above, this focuses more on the personal aspect of rendering but to a professional degree. This is where mindset comes into play as the abstract ideas and thought processes are questioned and answered.

If you’re into cognitive development, here is where you’ll find out how to balance out the crazies of performance and the noise of branding. It’s just overwhelming to talk about process and not think if there’s a point to it all.

UNDERSTANDING - Taking personal development further, here’s where I let loose and talk about myself, reflecting on what has happened so far with my efforts and how my actions have made me feel. Disappointments, changes, ironies and assumptions are discussed here.

Sometimes, I just don’t want to talk about blogging, I rather talk about me.

RELATIONSHIPS – I tend to send out a list of gratitude about bloggers and personalities online which have inspired or gave me a bit of wisdom in some way. I like to share this list with my readers in hopes that they check them out and support them as well.

These are normally my high returns on traffic because everyone loves it when they know you keep them in mind. Therefore, this section is devoted to building relationships from the blogosphere.

HUMANITY - Blogging wouldn’t be right without a little culture. This is where I discuss some of the ideas of marketing and branding on a larger scale, often referring to my ethnic background to understand further how the two worlds I live in is being challenged by the new society and markets.

So far it’s a work in progress. More to talk about for the future on language, customs and differences in way of life and more. Perhaps you can share a little of your cultural experiences here!

AMUSEMENT - Letting go of the blogging process, there’s also the creative process. This is where I let go and unleash another side to writing. Just like humanity it is a work in progress as I concentrate my efforts on blogging for the first few months. However, it’s a passion of mine which I will try to tackle with at times.

Overall, there’s no specific goal here but to blog for the sake of blogging.

It’s always going to be changing so I hope you stick around and stay connected either through Twitter, e-mail, RSS or Facebook. If you need further explanation of what those are read here for my description and walk-through.

Me

Thu NguyenI’m your typically nerd :) who loves to hoover around information, technical books and how-tos. I started writing about 10 years ago creatively but your feelings can only go so much, ya know. What eventually happened was the thought of blogging brought on the experience of technical experimentation and merged creativity with it. Now that’s what I’m talking about!

A platform to expand your knowledge and share it with the world. Oh yeah!

So this blog even though is a documentation of all sorts, it is more or less my baby. Overall, I’m not going to talk about myself immensely because that’s not the point here. You can find that in 31 Things You Didn’t Know About Me. Moreover, it’s going to be about growth, performance and development in the blogosphere. So I’m hoping you are interested in the same results sooner or later.

I have had the privilege of becoming or are still part of these amazing Mastermind groups:

Here are some of the places I have also branded my influence so far:

I’ve even described how these experiences are in a chronicle of my guest posting ventures.

There’s even awesome folks who have featured or talked about me. Yay! :)

Now, Why Blog?

I got into it because of this report from Yaro Starak. Honestly, I really don’t know what I wanted to blog about. I just wanted to blog and down the line, if I’m making money. Yay! However, that wasn’t going to happen any time soon. So the vision for Blogging For dot Info became about blogging for L.I.F.E. - learning, implementation, flexibility and experience.

These words basically encompass the process which keeps this blog going. I’ve even written a report for those who are interested in starting their own website as well. Check it out!

5 Things Cover5 Thing To Consider If You Want to Start A Website

Enjoy the experience and relax, it’s all only process!

There’s also the awesome report which Michele Welch put together called The Synergy of Business and Blogging which I’ve contributed to. Download a FREE complimentary copy!Synergy of Business and Blogging

You can contact me at thu (at) bloggingfor (dot) info if you need any technical help with setting up your blog whether it’s on blogger, wordpress or self-hosted.

I’ll try my best to help out!
